When a screaming amp head can't be cranked at home or in the studio, or using a monster cabinet in a small stage is impractical, use the MESA/Boogie CabClone to connect your amp head to your recording interface, mixer, or powered speakers. It has an internal load to protect your amp from getting fried; but for setup versatility, the internal load can be bypassed automatically when you connect a speaker cabinet through the CabClone.

One of the CabClone's assets is its selectable cabinet types; you can choose from an open-back, closed-back, or vintage-type cabinet to get the optimal tone for your amp. There is also headphone output so you can enjoy that cranked amp sound without disturbing your sleeping neighbors.
