Pearl Bata drums are made with Thai Oak shells for superior tone and conga-style tuning system for ease of use. Get bongo-like sounds from the smaller head and djembe / tumba style sounds from the larger head. This particular size (6.5" and 10" heads) is called the "Itotele".
